This is the first time I have tried Epilyx lip gloss and I must say I am impressed. I was a little scared that the rose gold would have too much pigment but it was perfect. It’s really moisturizing, gluten free, hypoallergenic and looks great on my dark skin.

The color is so vibrant and fun! Although it’s a matte lipstick, the formula is very comfortable and lightweight and doesn’t dry out your lips! It’s also very long lasting and won’t smudge or budge throughout the night. Definitely a must buy.
I’ve never been a big lip gloss fan because it’s so sheer and I hate the “you just ate fried chicken and didn’t wipe your mouth” look. But I just hit 50 and it’s getting hard to pull off severe dark lipstick with lip liner so I’ve started reconsidering lipgloss. I love how frosty this is and that it has some coverage instead of just being sheer. I did not experience at all the crusty/sandy texture that some reviews have mentioned-I can’t really feel that I have it on. I haven’t worn it over lipstick but I think it would probably be fantastic in that way. I bought colors St. Tropez and Skinny Dip and I prefer the St. Tropez because it is more pink and Skinny Dip is more tan. I think it’s a good texture- not too slimy, not too sticky.

Definitely looked nice in the pictures.Cons - very hard to get it to not look clumpy. Comes off on everything and needed multiple applications over one afternoon.Not a fav - but I got a good picture out of it .

I have this gloss in “Skinny Dip,” which is a frosty/clear nude shade with a slight iridescent purple tint. I was afraid it would look too pale on my lips and give me 80s vibes, but it’s actually very flattering and simply accentuates my natural lip color with a lot of sparkle.My only issue is the texture: it’s GRITTY. I absolutely hate glitter glosses that feel chunky. It smells amazing (like a vanilla marshmallow) and feels ok after awhile, but at first all I can do is focus on how dry and textured it feels. The more you layer on, the worse it feels! I prefer the way it looks after about 30-45 minutes. At that point, my lips are shiny but not glossy-wet, the sparkles have worn into my lips more, and my lips feel balmy and hydrated instead of tacky. The sparkle lasts for hours at least! Looks amazing in lowlight and photos.I guess you get what you pay for… this is a pretty average $10 lipgloss, and the tube is pretty boring. Not sure i’ll order it again, but it’s nice to have when I need some sparky lips!Hope this helps! ☺️
Your lips are right under your nose, so it's a treat when a lip product smells appealing. If you love the smell of buttercream icing, then you'll enjoy the smell of this lip gloss.I love a glitter lip. I am someone who will even do a rhinestone lip and suffer discomfort for the outrageousness. With a full traditional glitter lip you apply lip adhesive and then the glitter. It's a process and it feels like you made out with a sand box. You literally eat glitter all night long. I joke that what goes in must come out!That's why the feeling of this glitter gloss didn't bother me. I am used to a lot of grit to get the razzle dazzle. If you are someone who must have that smooth feeling lip gloss you won't like the feeling of the glitter glosses. However, if you are someone who can tolerate a little grittiness, you will be just fine. It's definitely not as intense as a traditional full glitter lip.The gloss wasn't sticky, nor did it get slimy after wearing when heating up from my body heat. The gloss had staying power. I feel the color I chose is more of a top gloss. The color I chose would be ideal over a darker shade lip color or an all white lip shade VS applied to bare lips.Removal could be achieved with a tissue. That did leave residual glitter. That cleans up with a makeup wipe.I would recommend the glitter glosses for ladies who love a glitter sheen for going out, holidays, special looks, photos, or those who can tolerate a glitter lip. This isn't for people who want a smooth, glossy lip feel.I give it five stars for the delicious smell, the sheen, and that it did not dry out my lips.Shine on you crazy diamonds!

I love that this is a little, local shop with high quality products. Expect a bit longer wait time than the usual big market, solely profit-focused stores, but its worth it. To be honest the color I chose (buff) is a bit too light for my natural color (oops-I suck at makeup) but it still looks nice and feels amaaaazing! I also love the smell. Mine came with a cute little glitter gift because of a coupon on the page when I bought it. I think that steps it up a bit too. Please refer to my ridiculous selfies :p
